关于 Sodium Extras 模组
Sodium Extras 为 Sodium（在旧版本上则是 Embeddium）添加了许多功能，以改善体验和性能。
功能
- 实体剔除。通过不渲染远处的实体，大幅提升整合包性能。包含可配置的 Y 值，让你在地表时可以禁用洞穴中生物的渲染。可配置或禁用。与 Out Of Sight 不兼容，因为该模组做同样的事，而且它本来就不支持 Sodium。
- 更好的 FPS 计数器。外观更美观，并可自定义显示最小帧时间（用于调试 tick 卡顿）和过去 15 秒的平均帧时间（用于准确基准测试）。
- 无边框全屏。Minecraft 的默认模式很难切换到其他窗口。此功能默认关闭，但会替换原版 Sodium 的全屏选项。
- 真实黑暗。提供让夜晚和洞穴呈现逼真黑暗的选项。可配置或关闭。
- 雾效开关。一个关闭所有雾效的选项，原版 Sodium 缺少此功能。
- 字体阴影开关。一个关闭所有字体阴影的选项，可加快文本渲染速度。
- 可配置云层高度。原版云层相当低，而在 Forge 上没有其他模组能将其升高。此模组默认将其调高一些。
- 与 Sodium/Embeddium 动态光源集成。此模组与 MDL 完美配合，并通过其优化大幅提升其性能。如果你有 MDL，你会想安装此模组。
注意：此模组在旧版本中曾包含缩放功能，但由于现在有许多不同的缩放模组可供选择，该功能已被移除。
在 1.16.5 上：区块淡入。这是从 Fabric 移植的“Fade In Chunks”，它应用基岩版效果，以减少新加载区块的突然出现效果，无论你是在进入游戏、切换世界，还是只是在飞行。可配置或禁用。

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20–1.20.1 on Fabric automatically, together with its dependencies: Sodium, Sodium Options API, Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file sodiumextras-fabric-1.0.7-1.20.1.jar (616 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Sodium, Sodium Options API, Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Sodium Extras should be in the list.
Sodium Extras works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

There are files for 1.20.1, 1.20. The newest is 1.20.1.
Is Sodium Extras for Forge or Fabric?
Only for Fabric: 1.20–1.20.1. There are no files for Forge or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
What does Sodium Extras need to work?
Required: Sodium, Sodium Options API, Fabric API. Without them the mod will not start: dependencies go into the same mods folder.
Do I need to install Sodium Extras on a server?
