配置文件包含了按照你自认为合适的方式设置提示框的说明，请先阅读配置说明！最多支持十六个自定义边框，每个边框都可以设置为按名称、模组、标签、原版稀有度、物品名称颜色、显示名称、提示框文本或NBT标签应用到物品上。默认情况下，模组包含了上图所示的自定义边框，并且可以通过资源包轻松添加更多。如果想要一个添加了十个自定义边框的示例资源包，请查看 Eclectic Trove！

使用 LegendaryTooltipsConfig.addFrameDefinition() 方法为给定的 ResourceLocation / 边框索引指定一个选择器列表（如果你不明白这是什么意思，请参阅配置文件文档）。此方法并未得到广泛支持，因此如果它不起作用，请尝试下面推荐的偏好数据驱动方法。

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.12.2–26.3 on Fabric, Forge or NeoForge automatically, together with its dependencies: Prism, Iceberg, Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file LegendaryTooltips-26.3-forge-1.6.3.jar (60 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Prism, Iceberg, Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Legendary Tooltips should be in the list.
Legendary Tooltips works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
