此模组完全为客户端模组。
配置
默认情况下，普通物品不会显示边框。可以通过配置选项启用。也可以选择在快捷栏上禁用边框。通过一个选项，可以将 Loot Beams 模组的自定义颜色同步为物品边框。可以完全禁用自动边框，并可以使用以下格式为物品/标签指定手动颜色：
[client.options.manualborders]
<颜色名称或十六进制代码> = <物品路径或标签列表> 或 <物品路径或标签>
例如：

如何安装 Item Borders
With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.12.2–26.3 on Fabric, Forge or NeoForge automatically, together with its dependencies: Prism, Iceberg, Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file ItemBorders-26.3-forge-1.3.3.jar (24 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Prism, Iceberg, Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Item Borders should be in the list.
Item Borders works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.

There are files for 1.12.2–26.3, 10 versions in total. The newest is 26.3.
Is Item Borders for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.18.1–26.3, for Forge: 1.12.2–26.3 and for NeoForge: 26.3.
What does Item Borders need to work?
Required: Prism, Iceberg, Fabric API. Without them the mod will not start: dependencies go into the same mods folder. Optional: Legendary Tooltips.
Do I need to install Item Borders on a server?
No. Item Borders works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
