飞蛾
飞蛾是无害且相当愚蠢的飞行昆虫。它们在夜间生成，尤其是在森林中。它们会被光源吸引，甚至包括火这样有害的光源。然而，它们会挤满火把并将其破坏。
Hidebehind
Hidebehind 是一种可怕的生物，据信是伐木工和其他森林旅人失踪的罪魁祸首。它悄无声息地跟踪猎物，如果被发现就会躲到树后，似乎融入树中，但会逐渐向猎物移动。然而，它那鲜艳的眼睛会暴露它的位置，而且它的眼睛对光敏感，会试图避开明亮的光线。如果它成功接近猎物，就会用几口猛烈的撕咬将其吞噬，不留任何残骸……
鬼火
鬼火是森林和沼泽中发现的奇怪气态幽灵。它们经常漫无目的地飞来飞去，靠近时往往会消失。然而，少数鬼火能够从人身上撕扯出灵魂，并试图将其烧掉作为自己火焰的燃料。如果发生这种情况，除非及时杀死鬼火并释放灵魂，否则必定死亡。当鬼火被杀死时，它可能会掉落一个幽灵之光，可以放置作为光源。
幽灵之光

Hirschgeist

为什么 Hidebehind 什么都不做或不动？
Hidebehind 不会四处游荡，它会跟踪猎物。然而，它不会跟踪处于光照中的猎物，也不会在白天跟踪猎物，除非是在黑暗的地方。这不是 bug，而是有意为之。它们通常不会在跟踪猎物之外存在。
我可以驯服 Zotzpyre 或其他东西吗？
不可以。这是一个旨在为森林增添恐怖元素的模组，而不是添加可爱的宠物和动物朋友
你会让 Zotzpyre 或其他东西可以驯服吗？
不会。见上文。如果某个生物不可驯服，那是有充分理由的。此外，如果任何生物在发布时不可驯服，之后也不会变得可驯服。

Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Fabric, Forge or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, Forge or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file whisperwoods-1.20.1-2.1.2-forge.jar (1.2 MB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Whisperwoods should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Which Minecraft versions does Whisperwoods work on?
Only Minecraft 1.20.1: there are no files for other versions.
Is Whisperwoods for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.20.1, for Forge: 1.20.1 and for Quilt: 1.20.1. There are no files for NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
Does Whisperwoods need other mods?
The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric, Forge or Quilt loader is enough.
Which Java does Whisperwoods need?
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.
