从 1.3 版本开始，你必须安装 Embers Rekindled 才能运行 Soot。
什么是 Soot？
Soot 是 Embers 的一个附属模组，旨在为 Embers 的内容提供一些改进和补充，同时尽量不破坏 Embers 的整体感觉。
Soot 包含什么？
余烬传输升级/平级升级：余烬爆发散布器，大致相当于余烬喷射器，但背离散布器的 5 个面中的每一个都可以绑定到不同的接收器。
炼金球机器升级：可以附加到混合离心机上，将其升级为炼金驱动的混合器。
金属升级：金属可以转化为其他金属（单向过程）。
锑：一种炼金合成的材料，其绿色光泽可以欺骗村民，让他们相信这是珍贵的绿宝石。
酿造酒精：酒精可以酿造和精炼，并赋予独特的药水效果。
机器升级：可附加的方块，为 Embers 机器提供加成。
鳞片和活板门箱：希望能促进更简单的炼金自动化。

如何安装 Soot
With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.12–1.12.2 on Forge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Forge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.12.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file Soot-1.10-hotfix.jar (2.6 MB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Soot should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.12.2 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
