- 真实黑暗。有选项可以让夜晚和洞穴变得真实地黑暗。可以配置或关闭。
- 雾切换。一个关闭所有雾的选项，这是原版 Sodium 所缺少的。
- 字体阴影切换。一个关闭所有字体阴影的选项，可加快文本渲染速度。
- 可配置的云高度。原版云相当低，而且在 Forge 上没有其他模组可以抬高它们。此模组默认将它们设置得稍高一些。
- 与 Sodium/Embeddium Dynamic Lights 集成。此模组与 MDL 完美配合，并通过其优化大幅提升其性能。如果你有 MDL，你会想要安装此模组。
注意：此模组在旧版本中曾包含缩放功能，但已被移除，因为现在有许多不同的缩放模组可供选择。

Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.16.5–1.21.4 on Fabric, Forge or NeoForge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Install Fabric, Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.4. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file sodiumextras-neoforge-1.0.8-1.21.4.jar (339 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Sodium/Embeddium Extras should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.21.4 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
