Fabric
QuiltHorizontal Portals/Fractal Portals adds horizontal and vertical portal variants for Vanilla and Mods.
- Added horizontal Nether Portals which you can create with Crying Obsidian Blocks in a minimum 4x4 to a maximum 21x21 configuration.
- Added support for The Aether Reborn portals if the mod is present. You can create the portal with Shroomlight and ignite the portal with a bucket of water.
- Added vertical End Portals which can be created using Ender Frames and ignite the portal with Dragon's Breath.
- Added vertical and horizontal Eden Ring Portals which can be created using Eden Frames and ignite the portal with Amethyst Shard.
- (Added support for Repurposed Structures' ruined end portals to generate with Ender Frames instead of Obsidian)
- Added support for Mining Dimensions. You'll need Flint-and-shard to ignite the portals. I recommend the use of REI to look up recipes for the portal blocks.

With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.19–1.19.2 on Fabric or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.19.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file FractalPortals_Fabric-1.19-1.5.2.jar (183 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Horizontal Portals should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.19.2 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
