配置文件中还有一些其他选项：
- "Dark Nether"："是否也应该移除下界的最低光照"
- "Dark End"："是否也应该移除末地的最低光照"
- "Dark Twilight Forest" [1.7.10]："是否应该将暮色森林的时间固定为午夜而不是黄昏"
- "AlternativeNightSkylight"："在模式 1 和 2 中，天空光会带有轻微的蓝色色调，此选项会将其替换为略带绿/黄的色调"
- "Dimension Blacklist"："一个以 "," 分隔的维度 id 列表，Hardcore Darkness 在这些维度中将不会生效"

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.12–1.12.2 automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file HardcoreDarkness-MC1.12.2-2.0.jar (32 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Hardcore Darkness should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.12.2 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
