Forge CIT 是 CITResewn 的非官方分支，旨在与 Forge Mod Loader 兼容。

我为什么需要这个？
Forge CIT 是将 MCPatcher 的 CIT 功能在 Optifine 之外重写为 Forge 的独立模组。
MCPatcher 有一个名为自定义物品纹理（简称 CIT）的功能，后来被 Optifine 采用。
自定义物品纹理允许资源包在物品满足特定条件时替换其外观。
Forge CIT 正是做到了这一点，但它是作为一个独立的 Fabric 模组，不需要 MCPatcher 也不需要 Optifine！
除此之外，Forge CIT 旨在通过扩展可用的类型和条件来在 CIT 的概念基础上进一步发展。

它与 MCPatcher/Optifine 的 CIT 有何不同？
CIT Resewn 旨在与旧的 Optifine/MCPatcher 资源包完全向后兼容。不过有一些关键区别。
首先，自扁平化以来，数字 id 系统已被移除。使用所谓的“魔法数字”的资源包
而不是新的文本 id 将无法工作。
其次，Optifine 和旧版 Minecraft 存在一个 bug，允许资源包将文件放在格式错误（或“损坏”）的路径中。
这些路径在文件名或其父目录中包含“非（小写）a-z、0-9、点、下划线和短横线”字符。
这些资源包将不再工作，必须手动修复
最后，为了确保与外部资源包的兼容性，CIT 将从以下位置的 .properties 文件加载：assets/minecraft/citresewn/cit assets/minecraft/optifine/cit assets/minecraft/mcpatcher/cit
Forge CIT 支持 Optifine/Rubidium 吗？
虽然 Forge CIT 设计为不需要任何性能模组即可工作，但会善意地尝试使其与 Rubidium 兼容，尽管没有保证。
话虽如此，将完全不支持 Optifine。

如何安装 Forge CIT
With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20.1–1.21.1 on Forge or NeoForge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file citresewn-neoforge-1.21.1-0.jar (199 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Forge CIT should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Which Minecraft versions does Forge CIT work on?
There are files for 1.21.1, 1.20.1. The newest is 1.21.1.
Is Forge CIT for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Forge: 1.20.1 and for NeoForge: 1.21.1. There are no files for Fabric: a mod for another loader will not start.
Does Forge CIT need other mods?
The author lists no required dependencies: the Forge or NeoForge loader is enough.
Which Java does Forge CIT need?
Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.
