Ex Deorum 是 1.7 版本 SkyBlock 伴侣模组 Ex Nihilo（作者 ErasmusCrowley）的移植版。它还借鉴了 unascribed 的 Ex Nihilo Adscensio、LexManos 的 YUNoMakeGoodMap 以及 BlayTheNinth 的 Ex Compressum 的一些理念，不过 Ex Deorum 并未使用这些模组的任何代码。
Ex Deorum 开箱即用地包含一个 SkyBlock 世界类型。本模组的所有配方都存在于数据包中。默认配方仅涵盖原版 Minecraft 的物品，而且筛子的掉落物足够丰厚，因此本模组无需 Ex Compressum 也能正常游玩。
本模组还添加了洒水壶物品，作为骨粉的替代品，应该能减少对 Tree Growing Simulator 之类模组的需求。共有六个等级，包括木制洒水壶，它会在世界开始时连同火把一起给予玩家（两者均可配置）。
Ex Deorum 为其所有方块提供了 JEI 支持，还提供了一些实用的 KubeJS 函数。

如何安装 Ex Deorum
With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20.1–26.2 on Forge or NeoForge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file exdeorum-5.1.jar (2.1 MB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Ex Deorum should be in the list.

Is Ex Deorum for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Forge: 1.20.1 and for NeoForge: 1.20.1–26.2. There are no files for Fabric: a mod for another loader will not start.
