Does it Tick 是一个实体 ticking 优化模组，它以简单的理念大幅提升服务器性能：
如果一只羊在 12 个区块之外，而且没人看见它，它还会 ticking 吗？
答案是不会，它不应该 ticking，许多不影响玩家体验的东西也一样。所以我们直接把它关掉！这出人意料地几乎不会造成什么问题，只是会破坏 AFK 农场的一些预期行为。
这个模组还兼容 FTB Chunks 和 Open Parties and Claims，因此你只需声明区块，就能让实体在你不在附近时照常 ticking。

如何安装 Does It Tick?
With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.16.5–1.21.1 on Fabric, Forge or NeoForge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file does_it_tick-fabric-1.1.4-1.21.1.jar (676 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Does It Tick? should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Does Does It Tick? need other mods?
The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric, Forge or NeoForge loader is enough.
Which Java does Does It Tick? need?
Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.
