SingleSleeper

Overview:

SingleSleeper is a Minecraft plugin designed to allow a single player to sleep and change the time to daytime, even if there are other players online. It also clears weather conditions like storms and thunder when a player sleeps. The plugin is compatible with servers running the Folia core, a multithreading improvement over the traditional Bukkit and Paper server cores.

Motivation:

This plugin was created to fill a gap for Folia server administrators, as there currently isn't a widely available plugin that offers similar single-player sleeping functionality fully compatible with Folia's architecture. Folia introduces new mechanics around server thread handling, which make existing plugins built for Spigot or Paper incompatible without modifications. Therefore, SingleSleeper was built from the ground up with full support for the Folia core, leveraging its GlobalRegionScheduler to ensure time and weather changes are handled properly across threads.

Installation:

Download the latest release from the releases page. Place the .jar file into your server's plugins folder. Start or restart your Minecraft server. Enjoy!

Usage:

When a player enters a bed during nighttime or during a storm, the time will be changed to day, and storms or thunder will be cleared. If a player attempts to sleep during the day without a storm, a message will be displayed indicating that the player cannot sleep.

Compatibility: This plugin is specifically built for Folia. It may not work as intended on standard Spigot or Paper servers due to the way Folia handles threading and regions. For Spigot or Paper servers, consider using other single-player sleeping plugins.

如何安装 SingleSleeper

A server on Paper
The plugin runs on the server core for Minecraft 1.21; players do not need to install anything.
File goes into the plugins folder
Download the file SingleSleeper-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar (5 KB) and put it into the server’s plugins folder.
Restart the server
On startup the plugin creates its own settings folder in plugins.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.

Minecraft 1.21 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
