Giới thiệu mod Sodium Extras
Sodium Extras bổ sung rất nhiều tính năng cho Sodium (và Embeddium trên các phiên bản cũ hơn) để cải thiện trải nghiệm và hiệu năng.
Tính năng
- Entity Culling. Cải thiện hiệu năng trong modpack một cách đáng kể bằng cách không render các thực thể ở xa. Bao gồm giá trị Y có thể cấu hình để bạn có thể tắt render mob trong hang động khi đang ở trên mặt đất. Có thể cấu hình hoặc tắt. Không tương thích với Out Of Sight, vì mod đó làm điều tương tự, và dù sao cũng không hỗ trợ Sodium.
- Better FPS Counter. Trông đẹp hơn, và có thể tùy chỉnh để hiển thị frametime tối thiểu (hữu ích để gỡ lỗi lag theo tick) và frametime trung bình trong 15 giây gần nhất (để benchmark chính xác)
- Borderless Fullscreen. Chế độ mặc định của Minecraft khiến việc chuyển ra ngoài cửa sổ trở nên khó khăn. Tính năng này mặc định tắt, nhưng thay thế tùy chọn fullscreen của Sodium gốc.
- True Darkness. Có các tùy chọn để làm cho ban đêm và hang động tối một cách chân thực. Có thể cấu hình hoặc tắt.
- Fog Toggle. Một tùy chọn để tắt toàn bộ sương mù, điều mà Sodium gốc còn thiếu.
- Font Shadow Toggle. Một tùy chọn để tắt toàn bộ bóng chữ, giúp tăng tốc render văn bản.
- Configurable Cloud Height. Mây gốc khá thấp, và không có mod nào khác để nâng chúng trên Forge. Mod này mặc định đặt chúng cao hơn một chút.
- Integration With Sodium/Embeddium Dynamic Lights. Mod này hoạt động hoàn hảo với MDL, và cải thiện hiệu năng của nó một cách đáng kể nhờ các tối ưu hóa. Nếu bạn có MDL, bạn sẽ muốn cài mod này.
Lưu ý: mod này từng đóng gói một chức năng Zoom trên các phiên bản cũ hơn, nhưng nó đã bị loại bỏ vì hiện nay có nhiều mod zoom khác nhau để lựa chọn.
Trên 1.16.5: Chunk Fade In. Một bản port của "Fade In Chunks" từ Fabric, áp dụng hiệu ứng Bedrock để giảm hiệu ứng pop-in từ các chunk mới tải, dù là khi bạn vào game, chuyển thế giới, hay chỉ đang bay xung quanh. Có thể cấu hình hoặc tắt.

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20–1.20.1 on Fabric automatically, together with its dependencies: Sodium, Sodium Options API, Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file sodiumextras-fabric-1.0.7-1.20.1.jar (616 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Sodium, Sodium Options API, Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Sodium Extras should be in the list.
Sodium Extras works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
