Functionality
Snow Under Trees adds, who would have thought, snow under trees. This will happen whenever new chunks are generated, or when it is snowing. Do note, that only biomes in which it is cold enough to snow are affected. Normal forests for instance will be unaffected.

Config
enable_biome_feature - Setting this to false will disable snow from generating under trees when new chunks are generated. enable_when_snowing - Setting this to false will disable snow from generating under trees when it is snowing in the world. filtered_biomes - Any biomes whose biome IDs are added here will not be affected by this mod in any way. You can find the biome ID of the biome you're currently in on the F3 screen. For example, the biome ID of the plains biome looks like this: minecraft:plains

Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.16.2–26.3 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Install Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file snowundertrees-fabric-26.3-1.6.1.jar (245 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
