Mapa je hotový svet, ktorý niekto postavil a zdieľal, aby si ho zahrali ostatní: príbehové dobrodružstvo, parkour, hádanka, horor alebo len veľké mesto, ktoré stojí za preskúmanie. Na rozdiel od modu mapa nič v samotnej hre nemení — je to bežný svet, len postavený ručne, často s command blokmi a datapackom vnútri.
Najhľadanejšie sú dobrodružné mapy s príbehom, hororové mapy a parkour, a na spoločné hranie mapy pre dvoch, kde sú úlohy stavané pre dvoch či viac hráčov. Pomôžu ti filtre S kamarátom a Horor pod položkou Na čo, a filter Bedrock edition nájde mapy pre telefóny. Najjednoduchšie je zahrať si mapu spolu na serveri: tlačidlo Na server na stránke mapy nahrá svet na Millida Hosting.
Verzia hry je pri mape dôležitejšia, než by si čakal. Svet vytvorený v 1.12 sa otvorí v novšej verzii, ale hra ho prevedie na nové pravidlá: niektoré mechaniky prestanú fungovať, command bloky sa môžu pokaziť a svet už nevrátiš späť. Preto hraj mapu presne na verzii, pre ktorú bola postavená — ideálne na kópii. Na inštaláciu mapy rozbaľ priečinok sveta do saves v priečinku hry a objaví sa v zozname svetov pre jedného hráča. Každá mapa tu uvádza autora, verziu a licenciu.
