Môžem mapu otvoriť v inej verzii hry?
Môžeš, ale hra nevratne povýši svet na svoju verziu a niektoré mechaniky sa môžu pokaziť. Hraj na verzii, ktorú uvádza autor, a drž si kópiu sveta.
Potrebujú mapy mody?
Väčšina nie — fungujú na vanille. Ak mapa potrebuje mod alebo resource pack, autor to napíše v popise.

Maps for Minecraft 26.12: 194 položiek v sekcii Mapy. Kompatibilita sa kontroluje podľa súborov, nie podľa popisu: v zozname zostanú len položky s buildom presne pre tieto podmienky.
Verzia hry je pri mape dôležitejšia, než by si čakal. Svet vytvorený v 1.12 sa otvorí v novšej verzii, ale hra ho prevedie na nové pravidlá: niektoré mechaniky prestanú fungovať, command bloky sa môžu pokaziť a svet už nevrátiš späť.
