Čím sa datapack líši od modu?
Datapack používa vlastné nástroje hry: mení recepty, loot, štruktúry a pokroky. Mod mení kód hry a dokáže pridať niečo naozaj nové — blok, moba, rozhranie. Datapack na fungovanie nepotrebuje loader.
Ako nainštalujem datapack?
Klikni na „Install“ a Millida Launcher pridá datapack do sveta, ktorý si vyberieš. Ak to chceš ručne, vlož archív do priečinka datapacks vnútri priečinka sveta a znovu sa pripoj k svetu.
Funguje datapack na serveri?
Áno, na bežnom serveri bez modov: priečinok datapacks sa nachádza vo svetovom priečinku servera. Hráči si na klientoch nemusia nič inštalovať.
Čo je data pack?
Sada súborov, ktorá mení hru jej vlastnými nástrojmi: recepty, loot, generovanie sveta, pokroky a príkazové funkcie. Funguje od verzie 1.13 bez modov či loaderov a inštaluje sa do konkrétneho sveta.
Existujú data packy na generovanie sveta?
Áno, je to jedna z ich najčastejších úloh: nové biómy, terén, jaskyne a štruktúry. Generovanie sa mení len v chunkoch, ktoré ešte neboli vytvorené, takže takýto data pack je najlepšie pridať pri vytváraní nového sveta.

Datapacks for Minecraft 1.21: 1 282 položiek v sekcii Data packy. Kompatibilita sa kontroluje podľa súborov, nie podľa popisu: v zozname zostanú len položky s buildom presne pre tieto podmienky.
To je hlavný rozdiel od modov: datapack sa nezobrazuje v zozname modov a nedokáže pridať nič, čo hra vôbec nemá — nový blok s vlastným modelom takto neurobíš. Na druhej strane sa nebije s inými packami, nepotrebuje aktualizáciu pri zmene loaderov a nebráni ti hrať s priateľmi na bežnom serveri. Inštalácia datapacku je jednoduchá: vlož archív do priečinka datapacks vnútri priečinka sveta, potom znovu načítaj svet alebo spusti príkaz reload. Karta uvádza verziu hry, autora a licenciu a všetky vydania sú zhromaždené na jednom mieste.
