COMPETITION FOR A NEW MONA LOBBY Mona Project's relaunch is getting closer... A new hosting, a fully updated technical side, preparation for season 3 and many new features require one thing - a new main lobby And we decided to entrust its creation to you. THEME Summer, beach, sea, palm trees, tropics, sun umbrellas and all that kind of stuff We think it's exactly in this style that the lobby should be made, the one that will greet players in season 3. PRIZES The winner gets: Their lobby will become the official lobby of the Mona Project in season 3. A mention of their nickname on a sign in the lobby Mona Prime for 1 month. Also, we will additionally select certain works and award them Mona Prime for 1 week as 2nd and 3rd places. HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK? In any convenient way. I'm rich and young TECHNICAL STATE Our server files have recently started to look like a huge pile of confusion, with a huge number of errors, temporary fixes, and problems that have accumulated over months. Each update became harder and harder to release, and sometimes finding bugs took even more time than the development itself. HOSTING CHANGE We thought that changing hosting would be a good idea to rewrite the whole server from scratch. This decision will bring huge benefits: a clean project structure, a new file organization, a review of the technical side, and fixing old problems that stretch back from previous seasons. A LOT HAS CHANGED If Project Mona used to be a friendly server with seasons for a not very large circle of people, now we have: Duels Cross-platform Viewing old seasons Online map Prime subscription And many more ideas for the future The old structure no longer allows us to do the things we're thinking about. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR PLAYERS? We want to warn you right away: Nothing will be lost. The history of seasons, your subscriptions, duels, everything will remain. We're not closing the project, we're rebuilding it. WHAT WILL CHANGE? Honestly? A lot. Some solutions we'll throw out entirely and never remember again. The main goal of the "rebuild" is to build a foundation for a server that can properly survive not only season 3, but everything that comes after it. AND WHAT'S NEXT? Recently I realized that our old hosting became weak not only because that's just how it is. Therefore, starting today, we're also beginning to focus on optimizing the server for its unreal power, because lately our host has been crashing from any action - from high online counts to a random error. And if we repeat this same mistake with the new hosting, no one will forgive us for it.
