ThreadTweak lets you improve and tweak Minecraft CPU scheduling. It is a maintained version of the original Smooth Boot mod, allowing you to still change CPU thread priorities in-game.
Why was this made if it's no longer needed?
While the main function of Smooth Boot was fixed in 1.19.4, the mod still allows you to adjust thread priorities, which can still be quite beneficial on some systems as shown in UltimateBoomer/mc-smoothboot #54.
Is this faster than the original mod?
Not in any way - this is simply a maintained version of the final version of Smooth Boot. There may or may not be extra features or improvements added as requested or while I have the time.

Hello Devin,
I certainly have no problems if you want to maintain a fork of Smooth Boot for future versions of Minecraft. I understand that Smooth Boot can still be useful in version 1.20 and later, though personally I'm not interested in maintaining the mod right now. I also suggest a different name to be used, though you don't have to if you don't want to. Smooth Boot's original purpose of making Minecraft launch faster is no longer necessary, so a different name would convey the purpose of the mod more accurately.

With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.21–1.21.11 on Fabric or Quilt automatically, together with its dependencies: Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.11. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file threadtweak-fabric-0.1.8+mc1.21.11.jar (60 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: ThreadTweak should be in the list.
On a server
A server on Fabric or Quilt
The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 1.21.11.
File goes into the server’s mods folder
Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.
Or use the “To hosting” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Minecraft 1.21.11 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Which Minecraft versions does ThreadTweak work on?
There are files for 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9, 1.21. The newest is 1.21.11.
Is ThreadTweak for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.21–1.21.11 and for Quilt: 1.21–1.21.11. There are no files for Forge or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
What does ThreadTweak need to work?
Required: Fabric API. Without it the mod will not start: dependencies go into the same mods folder.
Does ThreadTweak work on a server?
Yes. ThreadTweak works both in singleplayer and on a server.
Which Java does ThreadTweak need?
Minecraft 1.21.11 runs on Java 21. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.
