PolyHitbox

PolyHitbox replaces Minecraft's hitboxes with ones you can style, down to which entities get one.

PolyHitbox — captura 2

What you can change

  • Toggle the outline, filled sides, eye height ring and view ray separately
  • Custom color and line thickness for each of them
  • Solid or dashed lines
  • A different color for the entity you are looking at
  • A different color while an entity is in i-frames, so you can see when it can be hit again
  • Draw hitboxes on top of their entity
PolyHitbox — captura 3

When they show

  • Always, only for the entity under your crosshair, or toggled with a keybind
  • Hidden together with the HUD when you press F1
  • Hide the hitboxes of arrows stuck in blocks

Per entity type

All of the above can be set differently for players, yourself, mobs, monsters, projectiles, arrows, fireballs, wither skulls, item frames, armor stands, items and XP orbs.

On 1.8.9, "Accurate Hitboxes" draws each hitbox at the size attacks register against.

Compatibility

PolyHitbox doesn't work together with Combat Hitboxes.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.8.9 on Ornithe.
  • Minecraft 1.21.1-26.3 on Fabric.

PolyHitbox needs OneConfig and Fabric Language Kotlin.

Support

  • Report bugs and ask questions on the Polyfrost Discord.
  • Check Polyfrost Status if a Polyfrost service is down.

Cómo instalar PolyHitbox

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.21.4–26.3 on Fabric automatically, together with its dependencies: OneConfig, Fabric Language Kotlin.

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Fabric

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

  2. Download the file for your version

In the version list above, pick the file polyhitbox-1.3.7+26.3.jar (82 KB) for your game version.

  3. Put it in the mods folder

The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: OneConfig, Fabric Language Kotlin.

  4. Launch the loader profile

Open “Mods” in the main menu: PolyHitbox should be in the list.

PolyHitbox works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
