Acerca del mod MemorySweep

This mod can call System.gc() periodically to clean up your memory.

It also adds the /memorysweep_c and /memorysweep_s commands to manually clean memory.

The default time interval of cleaning memory is 15 minutes, and you can modify it in the configuration file.

Memory can also be cleaned up by memory usage.(Default 75%)

If there is lag during garbage collection, please add the JVM parameter -XX:+ExplicitGCInvokesConcurrent

Of course, I also recommend trying out ZGC, which is newly added in Java 11 and does not require the parameters mentioned above:

-XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseZGC

Please do not use any other GC concurrently with ZGC and do not add -UseAdaptiveSizePolicy

If you have suggestions you can comment or Issues.

Cómo instalar MemorySweep

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20.1–1.21.1 on Fabric, Forge or NeoForge automatically.

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Fabric, Forge or NeoForge

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

  2. Download the file for your version

In the version list above, pick the file MemorySweep-1.21.1-fabric-2.0.3-fix.jar (24 KB) for your game version and loader.

  3. Put it in the mods folder

The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.

  4. Launch the loader profile

Open “Mods” in the main menu: MemorySweep should be in the list.

Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
