Acerca del mod Farsight [Fabric]
Farsight is a client-side util which lets you see farther on servers than the servers view distance.
It works by having the client keep the chunks even when the server unloads them, up to a max render distance of 64 chunks. Optionally from version 5.0+ you can also save the received chunks to the disk, which allows loading them for previewing even when the server did not load them yet.
This is the Fabric version of Farsight, for the Forge/Neoforge version click here: Forge/Neoforge Requires Cupboard dependency to be installed in newer versions

It is only required on client side.
No known incompatibilities, should work with any other mod.

Install Fabric
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Farsight [Fabric] should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
