About
Crusade is a Minecraft mod that adds many new medieval themed weapons and gear. It adds a fully functional trebuchet that can throw any Minecraft block, even modded blocks, and new lance weapons that work on all ridable entities.
Trebuchet
A trebuchet is a type of catapult that uses a long arm to throw a projectile. It was a common powerful siege engine until the advent of gunpowder. (More on Wikipedia) This Minecraft recreation can throw any block or player over 100 blocks.
Lances
The lance is a pole weapon designed to be used by a mounted warrior or cavalry soldier (lancer). During the periods of classical and medieval warfare, it evolved into being the leading weapon in cavalry charges, and was unsuited for throwing or for repeated thrusting, unlike similar weapons of the javelin/pike family typically used by infantry. (More On Wikipedia) This Minecraft version can be used on while you are on any ridable entity and does damage to mobs in front of you. The faster you are going the more damage it will do.
Great Helm
The great helm or heaume, also called pot helm, bucket helm and barrel helm, is a helmet of the High Middle Ages which arose in the late twelfth century in the context of the Crusades and remained in use until the fourteenth century. (More On Wikipedia)

With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.16.5–1.19 on Fabric automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.19. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file crusade-1.2.8.jar (429 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Crusade should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.19 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Is Crusade for Forge or Fabric?
Only for Fabric: 1.19. There are no files for Forge or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.

The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric loader is enough.
Which Java does Crusade need?
Minecraft 1.19 runs on Java 17. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.
