Requires Fabric API to work properly
Pick and download Vanilla Tweaks resource packs directly from your Minecraft Client! From the resource packs selection screen, click on the "Download VT Resource Pack" button, pick your texture packs, and press download. The pack will be directly downloaded to your resource packs folder, no moving files around required!
You can also edit your downloaded packs directly from the resource packs screen by clicking on the pencil icon!

With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.21.6–26.2 on Fabric or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file vt-downloader-2.6.0+26.2.jar (136 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: VTDownloader should be in the list.
VTDownloader works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.

There are files for 1.21.6–26.2, 7 versions in total. The newest is 26.2.
Is VTDownloader for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.21.6–26.2 and for Quilt: 1.21.6–26.2. There are no files for Forge or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
Does VTDownloader need other mods?
The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric or Quilt loader is enough.
Do I need to install VTDownloader on a server?
No. VTDownloader works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
