Start your garden! Sprout is a mod that aims to enhance Minecraft's agriculture system in your world!

What does this mod add?
- Elephant - Spawns in meadows and tamed with peanuts, will water any plants nearby after filling up on by any nearby water source.
- Bounce Bugs - Spawning in crimson and warped forests, these can be bottled & used to grow nearby nether wart and mushrooms.
- Peanut Crop - Found in meadows, the peanut is a new farm crop that can be harvested and grown.
- Various Food Items - New pies, cookies, jams, and sandwiches have been added. (As of 1.4.0 this has been moved to Cozy)
- Crossbreeding - Craft a flower box, place 3 with a flower on each end to get any of the 16 colors of any vanilla flower!

With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.19.2–1.20.1 on Fabric or Forge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric or Forge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file sprout-1.5.0.jar (1015 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Sprout should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Which Minecraft versions does Sprout work on?
There are files for 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.2. The newest is 1.20.1.
Is Sprout for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.20–1.20.1 and for Forge: 1.19.2. There are no files for NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
Does Sprout need other mods?
The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric or Forge loader is enough.
Which Java does Sprout need?
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.
