A mod that hides frames if they contain an item. This solution allows you to improve the interior and see the frames when they are empty.
Usage
To see all frames again, even those that contain an item, you can press the H button (default). The frame state is saved in the configuration file hide_item_frame.json
Configuration
You can change the mod's settings in-game via the config screen.
Available options:
- Frame Visibility - whether frames containing an item are hidden (can be toggled with the H key).
- Offset Item in Frame - whether the item is pushed forward (offset) inside the frame.

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

In the version list above, pick the file hide-item-frame-1.5.2-forge+26.3.jar (55 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Hide Item Frame should be in the list.
