O Sodium Extras modu
Sodium Extras dodaje mnogo funkcija Sodium-u (i Embeddium-u na starijim verzijama) kako bi poboljšao iskustvo i performanse.
Funkcije
- Entity Culling. Drastično poboljšava performanse u modpack-ovima tako što ne renderuje daleke entitete. Uključuje podesivu Y vrednost tako da možeš da onemogućiš renderovanje mobova u pećinama dok si na površini. Može se podesiti ili onemogućiti. Nekompatibilan je sa Out Of Sight, jer taj mod radi istu stvar, a ionako ne podržava Sodium.
- Bolji FPS brojač. Izgleda lepše i može se prilagoditi da prikazuje minimalna vremena frejmova (korisno za otklanjanje kašnjenja na tick) i prosečna vremena frejmova u poslednjih 15 sekundi (za precizno benchmarkovanje)
- Fullscreen bez ivica. Podrazumevani režim Minecraft-a otežava prebacivanje na drugi prozor. Ovo je podrazumevano isključeno, ali zamenjuje vanilla Sodium opciju za fullscreen.
- Prava tama. Ima opcije da noć i pećine učini realistično mračnim. Može se podesiti ili isključiti.
- Prekidač magle. Opcija za isključivanje cele magle, koja nedostaje u vanilla Sodium-u.
- Prekidač senke fonta. Opcija za isključivanje svih senki fonta, što ubrzava renderovanje teksta.
- Podesiva visina oblaka. Vanilla oblaci su prilično niski i ne postoji drugi mod za Forge koji ih podiže. Ovaj mod ih podrazumevano postavlja malo više.
- Integracija sa Sodium/Embeddium Dynamic Lights. Ovaj mod savršeno radi sa MDL-om i drastično poboljšava njegove performanse svojim optimizacijama. Ako imaš MDL, poželećeš da instaliraš ovaj mod.
Napomena: ovaj mod je na starijim verzijama pakovao funkciju Zoom, ali je uklonjena jer sada postoji mnogo različitih zoom modova za izbor.
Na 1.16.5: Chunk Fade In. Port "Fade In Chunks" sa Fabric-a, primenjuje Bedrock efekat da smanji efekat naglog pojavljivanja novo-učitanih chunk-ova, bilo kada uđeš u igru, promeniš svet ili samo letiš okolo. Može se podesiti ili onemogućiti.

Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20–1.20.1 on Fabric automatically, together with its dependencies: Sodium, Sodium Options API, Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Install Fabric
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file sodiumextras-fabric-1.0.7-1.20.1.jar (616 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Sodium, Sodium Options API, Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Sodium Extras should be in the list.
Sodium Extras works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
