Molten Obsidian Tools
Have you ever been annoyed by crafting a replacement diamond tool when the one you've been using breaks?
Overview:
With this mod, you can upgrade your diamond tool to increase the durability and damage depending on the tool. All it takes is a Smithing Table and 1 piece of Molten Obsidian!
Crafting:
In order to obtain Molten Obsidian you must first find Obsidian, then blast the obsidian in a Blasting Furnace for 2 minutes to get 20 xp and 1 Molten Obsidian
- Crafting recipes should be available with JEI
1.20.X Crafting
You need to craft the Molten Upgrade Template or the Reinforced Upgrade Template as well as use Molten Obsidian or Reinforced Obsidian in order to upgrade your Diamond or Netherite tools!!!

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.19.3–1.20.6 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.6. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file moltenobsidiantools-1.0.4-1.20.6.jar (34 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Molten Obsidian Tools should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.20.6 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
