Fabric
QuiltPlayers do not need to install this mod
This mod is purely a library mod and should be included in any mods that use it. The only reason you should need to install this mod is if you need to force your game to use a specific version.
Some mods that use this library are:
- Simple BC Pipes by AlexIIL - A mod that adds some BuildCraft style pipes to the game.
- Wired Redstone by Kneelawk - A mod that adds redstone wire that can go on walls, much like in the RedPower2 and ProjectRed mods.
- Vanilla Parts by Juicebus - A mod that allows vanilla blocks like buttons and torches to share a block-space with each other as well as other multipart parts like Wired Redstone wire.
About
While this is a library mod this does add one block, and only one block: a multipart container. However this isn't useful in the normal sense, as multiparts must be registered by other mods in order to do anything.

Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.16.2–1.21.1 on Fabric or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file libmultipart-all-0.13.0-pre.3.jar (392 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Lib Multipart should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
