Ovaj mod smanjuje potrošnju memorije Minecrafta na nekoliko različitih načina. Tehnički opis promena na visokom nivou dostupan je ovde.
Količina ušteđene memorije zavisi od modpaka. U verziji 2.5.9 modpaka All Of Fabric 3 smanjuje potrošnju RAM-a (veličinu heap-a) sa 1.792 MB na 984 MB. Za poređenje, isto podešavanje sa Hydrogen umesto FerriteCore koristi 1.335 MB. Ove vrednosti su izmerene nakon generisanja sveta sa fiksnim seed-om i čekanja dva minuta. Da li treba da instaliram ovo na serveru ili samo na klijentu?
Neke optimizacije su samo na strani klijenta, ali postoje i neke prilično uticajne optimizacije koje su relevantne i na serveru. Zato bi trebalo da ga instaliraš na obe strane.
Da li je ovo kompatibilno sa [drugim modom]?
Najverovatnije da. Jedini izuzetak je Hydrogen, koji je kompatibilan sa svim novijim verzijama FerriteCore-a na verzijama Minecrafta na kojima je Hydrogen zvanično objavljen. To znači da verzije za 1.18+ nisu kompatibilne sa Hydrogen-om, jer je zvanično arhiviran i neće dobijati nova izdanja za te verzije.

Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.16–1.21.1 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file ferritecore-7.0.3-fabric.jar (121 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: FerriteCore should be in the list.
On a server
A server on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt
The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 1.21.1.
File goes into the server’s mods folder
Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Is FerriteCore for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.16–1.21.1, for Forge: 1.18–1.20.1, for NeoForge: 1.20–1.20.1 and for Quilt: 1.20–1.20.4.
Does FerriteCore need other mods?
The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt loader is enough.

Yes. FerriteCore works both in singleplayer and on a server.
