Ovaj mod mogu da koriste programeri modpakova za distribuciju podrazumevanih opcija i dodela tastera bez prepisivanja korisničkih izmena pri svakom ažuriranju modpaka.
Umesto da direktno šaljete options.txt, poslaćete fasciklu "defaultoptions" u svom modpaku koja sadrži podrazumevane vrednosti prethodno sačuvane putem komande /defaultoptions.
Ovaj mod zahteva Balm, koji mora biti instaliran zajedno sa modom.
- Pri prvom pokretanju, korisnici će početi sa opcijama koje ste podesili - a buduće izmene neće biti prepisane pri ažuriranju
- Dodele tastera koje je podesio modpak biće postavljene kao nove podrazumevane vrednosti, što znači da će izmene koje naprave korisnici ostati sačuvane čak i pri ažuriranjima
- Lista servera biće unapred popunjena listom servera koju pruža modpak (a korisničke izmene će i dalje ostati sačuvane pri ažuriranjima)
- Podesite opcije, dodele tastera i listu servera onako kako želite da budu poslati u modpaku
- Uđite u bilo koji svet i pokrenite "/defaultoptions saveAll" da sačuvate trenutne opcije u fascikli defaultoptions (koja se nalazi u fascikli config gde treba i da ostane)
- Ne uključujte options.txt i servers.dat iz korenskog direktorijuma u svoj modpak
- Nove instalacije (što znači da ne postoji options.txt) sada će početi sa vašim podrazumevanim opcijama

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.18–26.3 on Fabric, Forge or NeoForge automatically, together with its dependencies: Balm, Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file defaultoptions-neoforge-26.3-26.3.0.1.jar (108 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Balm, Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Default Options should be in the list.
Default Options works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
