Data pak koristi sopstvene alate igre: menja recepte, loot, strukture i napretke. Mod menja kod igre i može da doda nešto zaista novo — blok, moba, interfejs. Data pak ne treba loader da bi radio.
Kako da instaliram data pak?
Klikni „Instaliraj“ i Millida Launcher će dodati data pak u svet koji izabereš. Da to uradiš ručno, stavi arhivu u folder datapacks unutar foldera sveta i ponovo se pridruži svetu.
Da li datapak radi na serveru?
Da, na običnom serveru bez modova: folder datapacks se nalazi unutar world foldera servera. Igrači ne moraju ništa da instaliraju na svom klijentu.

Postoje li data pakovi za generisanje sveta?
Da, to je jedan od njihovih najčešćih poslova: novi biomi, teren, pećine i strukture. Generisanje se menja samo u čankovima koji još nisu napravljeni, pa je takav data pak najbolje dodati pri kreiranju novog sveta.
Minecraft data pakovi
Data pak menja pravila igre ne dirajući njen kod: recepte za krafting, loot tabele, strukture sveta, napretke, funkcije komandi. Igra sve to podržava nativno od 1.13, pa data pak ne treba ni Forge ni Fabric — instalira se u određeni svet i radi na vanilla klijentu i običnom serveru.
Data pakovi rade različite poslove: neki menjaju generisanje sveta — biome, teren i strukture, drugi dodaju mehanike, izazove i horor događaje, a treći su napravljeni za servere — ekonomiju, rangove, mini-igre preko komandi. Generisanje se primenjuje samo na nove čankove, pa se takvi pakovi dodaju pri kreiranju sveta. Na Millida Hosting data pak ide na server pomoću dugmeta Na server na njegovoj stranici.
To je glavna razlika od modova: data pak se ne pojavljuje u listi modova i ne može da doda nešto što igra uopšte nema — ne možeš ovako da napraviš novi blok sa sopstvenim modelom. S druge strane, ne sukobljava se sa drugim pakovima, ne treba ažuriranje kada menjaš loadere i ne sprečava te da igraš sa prijateljima na običnom serveru. Instaliranje data paka je jednostavno: stavi arhivu u folder datapacks unutar foldera sveta, zatim ponovo učitaj svet ili pokreni komandu reload. Kartica navodi verziju igre, autora i licencu, a sva izdanja su sakupljena na jednom mestu.
