Features
This resourcepack reduces the size of held items and blocks to make you able to see more of your screen. This includes every block and item. This is similar to item size mod in the badlion client as well as other mods which make items smaller.

This pack also edits some models in order to fix a few of the issues described in MC-114274. The blocks that are fixed are glazed terracotta and chiseled bookshelf.
There are also changes to head / skulls so they face towards you when held (like in versions before 1.9)

There is a version for Minecraft 1.8.9 which is nice because I haven't seen any other packs like this. There are mods that do this but this is for people who don't want to download those mods. 1.8.9 Version 1.12.2 Version

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the resource pack for Minecraft 1.8–26.3 automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Download the archive
Pick the file ! §3§6Small Held Items v2.1.1.zip (83 KB) for your game version. No need to unpack it.
Put it in the resourcepacks folder
The easiest way: “Options”, then “Resource Packs”, then “Open Pack Folder”, and drag the archive there.
Enable the pack
In the same window, move the pack to the right-hand “Selected” column and click “Done”.

No, the resource pack works in the plain game without loaders: put it into the resourcepacks folder and enable it in the options.
