O modzie RenderLib

This mod requires MixinBootstrap (curseforge, modrinth) to run! Mixin 0.7-0.8 Compatibility (curseforge, modrinth) might be helpful when another mod uses an older mixin version and you are thus unable to launch the game.

RenderLib is a client-side only mod that makes necessary changes to entity and tile entity rendering for some of my other mods. This mod on its own does not provide any meaningful improvements regarding performance and you probably only want to install it when using a mod that has this mod as a dependency.

You might want to check out my mods that have this mod as a dependency

  • Entity Culling (curseforge, modrinth) - Skip rendering of entities that are occluded by blocks
  • Nothirium (curseforge, modrinth - Greatly improve FPS by using modern OpenGL for chunk rendering

If you want to use RenderLib along TickDynamic then you should check out this fork of TickDynamic which is compatible with RenderLib: Tick Dynamic Continuation (curseforge, modrinth)

Jak zainstalować RenderLib

With Millida Launcher

  1. Install Millida Launcher

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.

  2. Click “Install” on this page

The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 on Forge automatically.

  3. Launch the game

A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

  1. Install Forge

The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.12.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.

  2. Download the file for your version

In the version list above, pick the file RenderLib-1.12.2-1.4.5.jar (284 KB) for your game version.

  3. Put it in the mods folder

The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.

  4. Launch the loader profile

Open “Mods” in the main menu: RenderLib should be in the list.

Minecraft 1.12.2 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

FAQ

Which Minecraft versions does RenderLib work on?

Only Minecraft 1.12.2: there are no files for other versions.

Is RenderLib for Forge or Fabric?

Only for Forge: 1.12.2. There are no files for Fabric or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.

Does RenderLib need other mods?

The author lists no required dependencies: the Forge loader is enough.

Which Java does RenderLib need?

Minecraft 1.12.2 runs on Java 8. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.

Where can I download RenderLib safely?

On this page: the file RenderLib-1.12.2-1.4.5.jar (284 KB) is stored on Millida’s server, with no link shorteners. SHA-1 checksum: da121ecfd63ea615de9a26276614bb0ab9306d95.
