Kontekst: Przez długi czas OptiFine był ważną częścią moddingu Minecrafta. Przez równie długi czas powodował błędy z modami – jego zamknięty kod źródłowy sprawia, że szczególnie trudno z nim pracować jako twórca modów. Z tego powodu powstało wiele alternatyw. Zwykle jednak odtwarzają one tylko jedną konkretną funkcję OptiFine, co oznacza, że użytkownik musi zainstalować wiele modów i skonfigurować je, szukając konkretnego moda w ModMenu.
- Pierwszy problem jest stosunkowo łatwy do rozwiązania, wystarczy pobrać modpack taki jak Fabulously Optimized lub skorzystać z fantastycznej listy alternatywnych modów Lambda
- Puzzle powstał, aby rozwiązać ten drugi problem, zapewniając zunifikowaną konfigurację dla modów zastępujących OptiFine z wbudowanym wsparciem dla najważniejszych alternatyw oraz API, z którego mogą korzystać inne mody.

The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.18–26.3 on Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt automatically, together with its dependencies: Fabric API, MidnightLib.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file puzzle-neoforge-2.3.1+26.3.jar (43 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Fabric API, MidnightLib.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Puzzle should be in the list.
Puzzle works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
