PortForwarded is a server-side mod/plugin that allows you to securely expose your Minecraft server to the internet without opening your router's ports. With PortForwarded you can easily and securely share your server with friends and players around the world without the hassle of configuring port forwarding on your router.
Note: Your players don't need to install the mod themselves!
Installation
To install PortForwarded follow these steps
- Download the mod/plugin and place it in the 'mods/plugins' folder of your Minecraft server.
- Restart your server to load the mod.
- After the restart, a config.yml file will be generated in /mods:plugins/PortForwarded/config.yml.
Configuration
Only one configuration field is present for now:
legacyFallback: true
- If set to true, legacyFallback will attempt forwarding using a third-party tunneling service called Serveo.
- This is a last-resort option to maximize service availability.
Make sure to save the changes to config.yml after updating the fields.
Usage
Once you have PortForwarded installed and configured, start your Minecraft server as usual. The mod will automatically handle the tunneling for all set ports and securely expose your server to the internet. The domain will appear in the console, and it can be safely shared with your friends and players to connect to your Minecraft server.

PortForwarded 설치 방법
A server on Paper, Purpur, Spigot or Bukkit
The plugin runs on the server core for Minecraft 1.12–1.21.5; players do not need to install anything.
File goes into the plugins folder
Download the file PortForwarded-1.0-universal.jar (5.3 MB) and put it into the server’s plugins folder.
Restart the server
On startup the plugin creates its own settings folder in plugins.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Minecraft 1.21.5 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
