MySQL JDBC for Minecraft

MySQL JDBC driver for use as an external library/optional dependency by other projects.

This mod doesn't do anything by itself - but it can be used by other mods that need JDBC.
This mod is a direct repackage of the official MySQL connector with added mod metadata to allow it to be loaded as a mod or plugin.
There are no modifications to the underlying JDBC driver.

This mod is a universal JAR and runs on all versions of Forge/Fabric/Spigot from 1.12.2 to current.

A server on Paper or Spigot
The plugin runs on the server core for Minecraft 1.12–1.20.4; players do not need to install anything.
File goes into the plugins folder
Download the file mysql-jdbc-8.0.33+20230506-all.jar (2.4 MB) and put it into the server’s plugins folder.
Restart the server
On startup the plugin creates its own settings folder in plugins.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.

Minecraft 1.20.4 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
