Summary
ItemStay allows you to drop an item and make it so that the item that you dropped cannot be picked up by anyone and will not despawn! Items dropped by users will NOT be stacked with the ItemStay items like they do using similar plugins.

Commands
Command Function
/itemstay Create a new display. The next item dropped will be put on display.
/itemstay list Able to be used by anyone. Shows displays within 5 blocks of you.
/itemstay delete <ID> Delete a display. Find the ID of a display through /itemstay list.
/itemstay respawn Respawn every display.
/itemstay reload Reload the configuration, reload the displays from file and respawn them.

The plugin should be compatible with pretty much any version you might be running, including 1.7.x, Spigot 1.8, 1.8.8, etc.

A server on Paper or Spigot
The plugin runs on the server core for Minecraft 1.8.1; players do not need to install anything.
File goes into the plugins folder
Download the file ItemStay-1.5.6.jar (26 KB) and put it into the server’s plugins folder.
Restart the server
On startup the plugin creates its own settings folder in plugins.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Minecraft 1.8.1 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Which Minecraft versions does ItemStay work on?
Only Minecraft 1.8.1: there are no files for other versions.
Do players need to install ItemStay?
No, the plugin goes only on the server, into the plugins folder: players do not need to download anything.
Which Java does ItemStay need?
Minecraft 1.8.1 runs on Java 8. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.
