호환성
Starlight는 전용 서버 또는 클라이언트 중 하나에 설치할 수 있습니다. 양쪽 모두에 설치할 필요는 없습니다. 서버에 Starlight가 있으면 클라이언트는 Vanilla/Phosphor/Starlight로 접속할 수 있습니다. 마찬가지로 클라이언트에 Starlight가 있으면 Vanilla/Phosphor/Starlight 서버에 접속할 수 있습니다.

목적
Starlight는 빛 엔진이 터무니없이 느려서 성능 문제를 겪던 대규모 전용 서버를 위해 개발되었습니다. 유일한 해결책은 빛 엔진 전체를 재작성하는 매우 침습적인 모드를 만드는 것이었습니다. 스냅샷 기간에도 업데이트할 수 있도록 이 모드를 fabric으로 포팅했고, 모든 사용자, 특히 클라이언트 사용자를 위해 공개하는 것이 유익하다고 판단했습니다. 다만 침습적인 모드라는 단점이 있습니다. 침습적이라는 점은 Bukkit에서 실행되는 대규모 서버에는 영향을 주지 않았습니다.

With Millida Launcher
Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.18.2–1.20.1 on Forge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Forge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file starlight-1.1.2+forge.1cda73c.jar (108 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Starlight (Forge) should be in the list.
On a server
A server on Forge
The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 1.20.1.
File goes into the server’s mods folder
Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
