Sodium Extras 모드 정보
Sodium Extras는 Sodium(그리고 구버전에서는 Embeddium)에 많은 기능을 추가해 사용 경험과 성능을 향상시킵니다.
기능
- Entity Culling. 멀리 있는 엔티티를 렌더링하지 않아 모드팩 성능을 획기적으로 향상시킵니다. 설정 가능한 Y 값을 포함해 지상에 있을 때 동굴 속 몹의 렌더링을 비활성화할 수 있습니다. 설정하거나 비활성화할 수 있습니다. Out Of Sight와 호환되지 않는데, 그 모드가 같은 일을 하며 어차피 Sodium도 지원하지 않기 때문입니다.
- Better FPS Counter. 더 보기 좋으며, 최소 프레임타임(틱 지연 디버깅에 유용)과 지난 15초간의 평균 프레임타임(정확한 벤치마킹용)을 표시하도록 사용자 지정할 수 있습니다.
- Borderless Fullscreen. Minecraft의 기본 모드는 창을 전환하기 어렵게 만듭니다. 기본적으로 꺼져 있지만, 바닐라 Sodium의 전체 화면 옵션을 대체합니다.
- True Darkness. 밤 시간과 동굴을 사실적으로 어둡게 만드는 옵션이 있습니다. 설정하거나 끌 수 있습니다.
- Fog Toggle. 바닐라 Sodium에 없는, 모든 안개를 끄는 옵션입니다.
- Font Shadow Toggle. 모든 글꼴 그림자를 꺼서 텍스트 렌더링 속도를 높이는 옵션입니다.
- Configurable Cloud Height. 바닐라 구름은 상당히 낮으며, Forge에서 이를 높여주는 다른 모드가 없습니다. 이 모드는 기본적으로 구름을 조금 더 높게 설정합니다.
- Integration With Sodium/Embeddium Dynamic Lights. 이 모드는 MDL과 완벽하게 작동하며, 자체 최적화로 MDL의 성능을 획기적으로 향상시킵니다. MDL을 사용한다면 이 모드를 설치하는 것이 좋습니다.
참고: 이 모드는 구버전에서 Zoom 기능을 포함했었지만, 이제 선택할 수 있는 다양한 줌 모드가 많아져 제거되었습니다.
1.16.5에서는: Chunk Fade In. Fabric의 "Fade In Chunks"를 이식한 것으로, 게임에 접속할 때, 월드를 전환할 때, 또는 그냥 날아다닐 때 새로 로드된 청크의 팝인 효과를 줄이기 위해 Bedrock 효과를 적용합니다. 설정하거나 비활성화할 수 있습니다.

Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20–1.20.1 on Fabric automatically, together with its dependencies: Sodium, Sodium Options API, Fabric API.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.20.1. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file sodiumextras-fabric-1.0.7-1.20.1.jar (616 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it. Required dependencies go there too: Sodium, Sodium Options API, Fabric API.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Sodium Extras should be in the list.
Sodium Extras works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
Minecraft 1.20.1 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
