아마 필요 없을 겁니다. 하지만 자체 사이트를 운영하면서 업데이트 확인이나 사이트에 접근하는 다른 기능을 쓰는 모더라면, 문제를 겪었을 수 있습니다. Mojang이 런처에 포함해 배포하는 Java 버전에서는 Let's Encrypt 리소스에 접근할 수 없기 때문입니다.
이게 무슨 일을 하나요?
모드가 로드될 때 런타임에 Let's Encrypt 인증서를 설치합니다.
모더로서 이걸 어떻게 사용하나요?
CurseForge에서 의존성으로 지정하기만 하면 됩니다. 아마 여러분의 모드에도요. 저는 생성자에서 인증서 설치를 실행하므로, 모드에 의존성으로 지정할 필요조차 없습니다!
그런데 의존성을 더 늘리고 싶지 않다면요?
코드는 오픈 소스이며 상단에 링크되어 있습니다. MIT 라이선스를 준수하는 선에서 얼마든지 통째로 복사해 붙여넣으셔도 됩니다 :)

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.8–1.12.2 automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file letsencryptcraft-1.10.2-1.2.0.jar (7 KB) for your game version.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: LetsEncryptCraft should be in the list.
Minecraft 1.12.2 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
