This mod is client-only, installing it on a dedicated server does nothing.
When this mod is installed, it will add a few new things to the "Open to LAN" Gui, which then allows the user to start the LAN game on a specific port, and also provides an option to disable the "online mode".
In addition, it allows you to enable or disable PVP and set the maximum number of players.
Since version 1.9, if you are using the "offline mode", you can enable an option that prefers the UUID from Microsoft/Mojang where possible. This avoids loss of inventory contents when switching from online mode to offline mode.
Since 1.20.5, Minecraft requires Java 21. From 1.18.1 to 1.20.4, Minecraft requires Java 17. 1.17.1 requires Java 16. Older versions work on Java 8.

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20.5–1.21.3 on Forge or NeoForge automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Forge or NeoForge
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.21.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file lanserverproperties-1.13.2-forge.jar (44 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: LAN Server Properties should be in the list.
LAN Server Properties works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
Minecraft 1.21.3 runs on Java 21: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.
