1.4.2부터 빈 손으로 블록을 우클릭하면 현재 모드를 알려주고, 빈 손으로 웅크린 채 우클릭하면 모드가 순환합니다. (2x2 다음 3x3, 2x2 전용, 3x3 전용 모드)
1.5.3부터 새로운 모드가 추가되었습니다: 3x3 hollow. 이 모드를 사용하면 상자와 같은 패턴으로 아이템이 제작됩니다. 이는 화로, 상자, 그리고 대부분의 Magical Crops 에센스 제작에 사용할 수 있습니다.
또한 AutoPackager 자체는 Refined Relocation 정렬 네트워크의 Sorting Connector 역할을 합니다.
