Aurora Astral is a cosmic-fantasy shader pack that transforms Minecraft’s sky into a living celestial world. Animated astral rifts tear through the night, a colossal planet rises behind the sun, and The End becomes an evolving galaxy filled with subtle cosmic fractures and energy.
This project offers two distinct visual style options:
- Aurora Fantasy: Designed for a classic fantasy aesthetic with vibrant color palettes and a magical aurora vibe.
- Aurora Astral: Focused on a deep cosmic experience with celestial bodies, galactic skies, and animated astral rifts.

- The End Cosmos: Replaces the empty End sky with a moving galactic environment, layered cosmic materials, embedded fractures, and balanced atmospheric lighting.
- Weather-Aware Phenomena: Celestial effects react naturally to rain and changing atmospheric conditions.
- Cosmic Reflections: Astral light and night-sky phenomena subtly interact with reflective surfaces.
- Simplified Graphics Profiles: Choose between Balanced for practical gameplay and Extreme for maximum celestial detail.

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the shaders for Minecraft 1.19–26.2 automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Iris or OptiFine
Without a shader mod the game cannot see shaders. Install it for the same Minecraft version.
Download the shader archive
Pick the file Aurora Astral 1.0.zip (42 MB) and do not unpack it.
Put it in the shaderpacks folder
“Options”, then “Video Settings”, then “Shader Packs”, then “Open Shader Pack Folder”, and drag the archive there.
Select the shaders
In the same window, click the pack name and “Apply”.
