Config Managerは、Modパック開発者が設定ファイルをシンプルで使いやすい方法で配布できるようにするMinecraftのModです。Minecraft 1.20.1以降を対象に、NeoForgeとFabricの両方をサポートしています。
機能
ユーザー設定を上書きせずにModパックのデフォルトを配布
- Modパックのデフォルト設定ファイルを /config/modpackdefaults に配置します。
- 起動時に、そのディレクトリ内のすべてのファイルが、まだ存在しない場合にのみMinecraftディレクトリへコピーされます。
例:
- .minecraft/config/modpackdefaults/options.txt → .minecraft/options.txt にコピー
- .minecraft/config/modpackdefaults/config/myMod.json → .minecraft/config/myMod.json にコピー
これにより、Modパックの更新をまたいでもユーザー設定が保持されます。
Modパックのデフォルトへの更新またはリセット
Modリスト（NeoForge）またはMod Menu（Fabric）から、Config ManagerのGUIを開き、次の2つの操作から選択できます:
- 更新 – Modパックの設定ファイルをユーザーの設定の上にコピー（上書き）します。
- パックによって変更されたすべての設定が更新されます。
- 手を付けていない設定はユーザーが構成したまま残ります。
- リセット – 設定ディレクトリ全体を消去し、Modパックが配布するファイルに置き換えます。
- 壊れた、または破損したインストールを修正するのに便利です。
Config Managerのインストール方法

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.20.1–26.3 on Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 26.3. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file ConfigManager-neoforge-26.1_26.2-1.1.3.jar (148 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Config Manager should be in the list.
On a server
A server on Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt
The mod only works on a server with the same loader and game version, for example 26.3.
File goes into the server’s mods folder
Stop the server, put the mod file into the mods folder and start the server again.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.

There are files for 1.20.1–26.3, 21 versions in total. The newest is 26.3.
Is Config Manager for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.20.1–26.3, for NeoForge: 1.21.9–26.3 and for Quilt: 1.20.1–26.3. There are no files for Forge: a mod for another loader will not start.
Does Config Manager need other mods?
The author lists no required dependencies: the Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt loader is enough.
Do players need to install Config Manager?
No. Config Manager works on the server side: it is installed on the server only, and players do not need to download anything.
