しかし、落とし穴はどこにあるのかと聞かれるかもしれません。実はほとんど落とし穴はなく、すべてがバニラと同じように動作します。
今のところ互換性がない唯一の MOD は Bedspreads です。この MOD はベッドの block entity renderer を使用しているためです。
また、デフォルトのレンダラーを使用してカスタムベッドを追加する MOD には、それ用のモデルファイルを提供する必要があります。
カスタムの block entity renderer を使用してベッドを追加する MOD は影響を受けません。
そもそもなぜベッドは block entity renderer を使用しているのでしょうか？ベッドが 1.12 で追加されたとき、ゲームはまだ古いブロック ID システムを使用しており、限られた数の ID しか許可されていませんでした。1.12 で多くの新しいブロックが追加されたため、ゲームは ID を使い果たしそうになり、開発者は ID を節約するためにベッドを block entity + renderer にしました。1.13（The Flattening）で新しい ID システムが導入され、無制限の数の ID が許可されるようになりましたが、ベッドの block entity とそのレンダラーは手を付けられませんでした。

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the mod for Minecraft 1.16–1.19.2 on Fabric or Quilt automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Fabric or Quilt
The loader must match the game version of the mod file, for example Minecraft 1.19.2. After installing it, a separate profile appears in your launcher.
Download the file for your version
In the version list above, pick the file betterbeds-1.2.0.jar (43 KB) for your game version and loader.
Put it in the mods folder
The folder is inside .minecraft (Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods). If it does not exist, create it.
Launch the loader profile
Open “Mods” in the main menu: Better Beds should be in the list.
Better Beds works on the player’s side only: there is no need to install it on a server.
Minecraft 1.19.2 runs on Java 17: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Which Minecraft versions does Better Beds work on?
There are files for 1.16–1.19.2, 14 versions in total. The newest is 1.19.2.
Is Better Beds for Forge or Fabric?
There are files for Fabric: 1.16–1.19.2 and for Quilt: 1.17–1.19.2. There are no files for Forge or NeoForge: a mod for another loader will not start.
