WARNING: This Shaderpack It is still under development, expect poor performance and a large number of bugs.

Key features: Global illumination (VXGI) Modeling realistic light propagation with multiple light ray bounces.

Irradiance Cache: multiple bounces at low cost; lighting persists off-screen.

Radiance Cascades (experimental): an alternative probe-based GI method.

Voxel Ambient Occlusion (VXAO)

Torches, lanterns, glowstone and other light sources cast ray-traced soft shadows.

Ray-traced sun shadows with a penumbra that widens with distance from the caster.

Voxel reflections that show what's off-screen.

LabPBR support.

Requirements: Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 with Iris 1.11.7 or newer. OptiFine is not supported. A GPU with OpenGL 4.6; an RTX 4050+ / AMD GPU not supported.

Install Millida Launcher

Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the shaders for Minecraft 26.3 automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.

Manually

Install Iris
Without a shader mod the game cannot see shaders. Install it for the same Minecraft version.
Download the shader archive
Pick the file VoxLume_alpha_0.2.zip (2.2 MB) and do not unpack it.
Put it in the shaderpacks folder
“Options”, then “Video Settings”, then “Shader Packs”, then “Open Shader Pack Folder”, and drag the archive there.
Select the shaders
In the same window, click the pack name and “Apply”.
