À propos des shaders Sedimentary

Sedimentary Shaders The forgotten layer of Minecraft's past.

Sedimentary is an Alpha-styled horror shader pack built to transform your world into an oppressive, retro survival experience. Inspired by the visual limits of early 2010s Minecraft, Sedimentary strips away modern atmosphere in favor of dense blue fog, raw color palettes, and unsettling classic lighting. Key Features

Sedimentary — capture 3

Dense Alpha-Blue Fog: Replaces modern volumetric lighting with a suffocating wall of retro blue fog, drawing in render distances to keep the dark unknown constantly looming over you.

Alpha Foliage & Color Grading: Transforms tree leaves and terrain with classic oversaturated neon-green grass, harsh foliage tones, and high-contrast color grading mirroring early Minecraft Alpha builds.

Raw Block Lighting: Disables modern smooth shadows in favor of sharp, block-by-block light attenuation, bringing back the eerie contrast of unlit caves and pitch-black nights.

Retro Skybox & Weather: Minimalist celestial bodies, desaturated day cycles, and sudden, high-intensity lightning flashes that briefly illuminate distant terrain.

Subtle Visual Artifacting: Optional retro film grain and slight camera jitter settings to emulate the feel of old creepypasta screen recordings and low-bitrate streams.

Recommended Setup

For the true 2010 horror experience, pair Sedimentary with:

Render Distance: Set between 9 to 11 Chunks.

Smooth Lighting: Set to OFF in your in-game video settings.
