Typically, shaders are there to make Minecraft more beautiful, but what if not. Want to not have fun and end up in isolation?
Introducing Pain.™, chromatic aberration, oversaturated colors, and screen warping, all at once, all the time. It's less "cozy survival vibes" and more "staring into a strobe light while your friends stage an intervention."
Fun fact: this is already the toned-down version. Several effects got cut during development because they were on track to invent a brand new strain of eye cancer. You're welcome.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ WARNING: Still contains rapid flashing/strobing effects, hence the epilepsy warning gate before you can enable it. That part's genuinely not a joke.

Install Millida Launcher
The launcher is free: download it at millida.net/launcher and sign in with any nickname.
Click “Install” on this page
The launcher opens and installs the shaders for Minecraft 26.2–26.3 automatically.
Launch the game
A profile with it appears in the launcher: click “Play”.
Manually
Install Iris or OptiFine
Without a shader mod the game cannot see shaders. Install it for the same Minecraft version.
Download the shader archive
Pick the file Pain-v1.zip (4 KB) and do not unpack it.
Put it in the shaderpacks folder
“Options”, then “Video Settings”, then “Shader Packs”, then “Open Shader Pack Folder”, and drag the archive there.
Select the shaders
In the same window, click the pack name and “Apply”.
