Advanced bans allows you to Temporary and Permanently ban players from your server. You can now have more control about your bans with both IP and Nickname banning.
We hope to have version 2.0 ready soon! Progress: 49,85%.

Commands / permissions:
- advbans.ban - /ban <name> [time in minutes] [reason...] - ban player (if player is offline, plugin will use ip history) (example: /ban kyku 15 Spam) * advbans.unban - /unban <name> - unban player (example: /unban kyku) * advbans.banip - /banip <ip address> [time in minutes] [reason...] - ban player on ip AND NAME (using ip history) (example: /banip 127.0.0.1 60 Spam) * advbans.unbanip - /unbanip <ip address> - unbanip player (example: /unbanip 127.0.0.1) * advbans.kick - /kick <name> [reason] - kick player (example: /kick kyku spam)
The first author of this plugin was Kyku. Since then this plugin has been remodeled to use the new bukkit configuration system.
Comment installer Advanced Bans
A server on Paper or Spigot
The plugin runs on the server core for Minecraft 1.6.1; players do not need to install anything.
File goes into the plugins folder
Download the file AdvancedBans-0.81.jar (27 KB) and put it into the server’s plugins folder.
Restart the server
On startup the plugin creates its own settings folder in plugins.
Use the “To server” button
On Millida Hosting, the button at the top of the page uploads the file to your server and restarts it for you.
Minecraft 1.6.1 runs on Java 8: with a different Java version the game may close right after launch.

Which Minecraft versions does Advanced Bans work on?
Only Minecraft 1.6.1: there are no files for other versions.
Do players need to install Advanced Bans?
No, the plugin goes only on the server, into the plugins folder: players do not need to download anything.
Which Java does Advanced Bans need?
Minecraft 1.6.1 runs on Java 8. If the game closes right after launch, the usual cause is the wrong Java version in the profile settings.
